Greg Delgauido #30: Greg "Guido" Delgaudio (Face off cheating specialist, Team Smoking Enthusiast, available to "show you what's up" whenever you want, also great for children's birthday parties):
Greg grew up in the lacrosse mecca of upstate New York, learning to play from a remote Native American tribe when he was just a young boy.  After a tragic ice fishing accident, Greg lost his hearing in one ear...but never let it slow him down.  After attending Keuka College (class of '74), Greg moved to Colorado to pursue his promising clown photography career...he has an obsession with ballon animals.  Greg decided the talent level in rural Colorado was not quite what he was hoping, so he made the logical progression into taking pictures at various sporting events.  After several years, and one sweet Isuzu Rodeo (plenty of stickers, not plenty of horsepower), Greg made a career move into telecom sales, where he still enjoys employment as a sales manager.
Greg's knowledge of the game is always appreciated by his teammates, and while he may not have the physical prowess he once possessed; he is quite the "crafty veteran."  And if you were wondering his left ear is the good one.

Christopher Spangler #13: Team Captain, Team Mom-  Chris is the head coach of Colorado Academy high school lacrosse and is one of the founding fathers of Team 5280.  Although he is loves to play the game, his wife and his body have  other ideas in mind for his lacrosse career.  Chris has been a coach of a high school or College team for over 13 years now and is dedicated to elevating lacrosse at every level here in his home state of Colorado.  He is happily married to Liesl and is the father of Madison.  He and his family reside in Littleton Colorado and have two labs (Tibby and Sage) and one cat.

Nate Rinfret #17: Team Captain, Offensive Coordinator, Head Cheerleader- Nate has been involved with lacrosse for over 20 years now.  He started as a young buck on the Eastern plains of Colorado and he has improved ever since.  Nate is the one who thought up the name Team 5280 and he brings a lot of love for the game.  Although he yearns to play on Team Nike he has held fast to his word and has kept the fire for 5280 burning inside.  Although he is not a vocal coach, you will know when you have made a disapointing play by the stern look he will give you at the midfield line.

Chris Bluse #00: Team Captain, Defensive Coordinator- Chris Bluse is a prime example of making a mountain out of a mole hill or a foothill in his case.  Chris was raised in Golden Colorado where he was the starting varisty goalie for the Golden Demons all 5 years of his high school career (He is better on the field than in the classroom).  After 5 stellar years of high school he was named All American (the first for Golden HS) which is a feat comparable to becoming the first Eskimo on the moon.

After Golden, Chris expanded his horizons and took the 20 minute drive to the Univesity of Colorado, Boulder where he continued his lacrosse career under the careful watch of Coach Spangler.  Again after a stellar lacrosse career he finished CU in the alloted 4 years (unexpectedly) and was an insturmental part of the Buffalos program.  He was named All American all 4 years he was a Buffalo and lead his team to 4 national tournament apperances.

After college Chris moved to Chicago with a promosing new job in the field of automechanics.  He is also now apart of the professional lacrosse team the Chicago Machine www.chicagomachine.com/benchwarmers.  Again this is a first for the Golden community where he is slowly becoming a local legend.  Even though he is a professional lacrosse player and an All American college graduate he still finds himself at most tournaments backing up our starting goalie Piet Dudley who is a Denver East graduate and a Junior at Faifield College, such are the benefits of being an East Angel.  We congratulate Chris on his success here in Colorado and we wish him luck as we cheer him on from afar as he brings his skills to the Machine.

If you are apart of our team please submit your (or someone you wish to write about) bio and description to cdspangler@team5280lax.com.

Jessica Alley #24: Official Full time Team 5280 DD (she is only 20!).  Although we are proud to have yet another true native on the team Jessica made the unfortunate decision to attend Cherry Creek High School for all 4 years.  Jessica spent her formative years surrounded by people with coral necklaces, sprayed on tans and driving used BMW's and 4-Runners with over 60,000 miles.  Imagine the cast of the Real World Las Vegas just bitchier and more high maintenance.

While attending the "little university of Aurora" she did fall in love with the greatest game ever.  She was an outstanding defensive player in an otherwise rather listless team.  Jessica was surrounded by numerous teammates who were more interested in the happenings of the Hills cast then the happenings on the lacrosse field.  Despite her teams lack of effort Jessica discovered her love of two things, lacrosse and guys who play lacrosse.

After graduating in 2006 from CC as a Bruin (yes guys she was born in 1988 the year after Mannequin hit the big screen) Jessica decided that she could not leave the fresh mountain air, the beautiful skies of Colorado and the cultural diversity found here in her home state so she decided to attend school in wonderful Greeley Colorado.

The good news of being a UNC laxer is that she doesn't have to change in any of her high school mascot attire since UNC is also an ursine animal (Kelsic that means bear in Latin).  The down side is that her practices and home games are played under the stench of butchered cows and her field is covered with natural prairie grass.  The grass helps the UNC women's team get back to the roots of the Native American game but as one fellow bear was overheard saying "This field totally messes up my nail polish and I think it gave me a rash last week.  Oh wait that was something else, never mind."

While we are excited to add the women's team to our Team 5280 program, the managing board does have its reservations of how running a women's team will be.  But with the help and dedication from Jessica and her cohort Kathryn we know her skills as one of the UNC lacrosse officers will make our Lady Larks one of the premier teams in the United States.

Aside from her lacrosse career Jessica is currently studying Sports Marketing and photography.  She is a trainer for the Denver Outlaws when not attending school.  She likes UFC combat and her favorite movie is Lord of the Rings (she has a huge crush on Frodo).  If you run into Jessica in Vail after 10pm feel free to jump into her car as she will not have  had a drink and she will be shuttling our men's team from the Christian Science Reading Room back to their hotel for some much need rest.
